Values
I think about these a lot, not just when I'm designing or building something, but in how I move through things day to day. At Yale, I'm surrounded by people from wildly different backgrounds and disciplines, and that shapes how I see most things. The way someone approaches a problem says more than the solution itself.
I've worked in technical roles and I'm glad I have, because it gave me a perspective I think more people should have. But I've always been more drawn to learning fast and making things that feel right than to any one skill set. This site came out of a lot of time spent looking at work from product designers, things I've stumbled across online that stuck with me, and most importantly, people I've worked with.
